    17.12.2009 - Special pliers set on the occasion of the GEDORE anniversary - power packages with a bite

    On the occasion of the anniversary of the GEDORE Werkzeugfabrik the three-piece pliers set S 8390 was created in a limited edition. Together these three models are reliably on hand for any application.

    The power combination pliers 8250-180 JC are designed for demanding continuous use during gripping and cutting. They feature induction-hardened precision cutting edges with a hardness of 62 - 64 HRC (hardness measure according to the "Rockwell-C" measurement procedure) and are suitable for easy cutting of all wire types. The pliers are made out of special GEDORE heat-treated steel, are chrome-plated and furnished with 2-component handle protectors, which spare the hand in continuous use. Due to their particular joint centre point, they offer good lever action for easy cutting.

    The power side cutter 8316-160 JC, which is included in the set, features an American pattern; hence the joint of the pliers is attached. Side cutters belong to the most common pliers’ models, as they are suitable for most diverse materials. They are preferably used in the electronics and mechanics area. They also feature induction-hardened precision cutting edges with a hardness of 62 - 64 HRC, are chrome-plated and furnished with 2-component handles.

    The third and last pliers of this set are universal pliers 142 10 TC. They can be set to 15 different sizes via fine adjustment per push-button at the pliers head. The offset gripping faces are self-gripping on nuts and pipes. GEDORE chrome-vanadium special steel and induction-rehardened teeth make them especially robust. The handles are slim and serrated as well as dip-coated.
